Comet runs the flight team's conditioning program and is, by most accounts, the reason the whole team can keep pace with Dasher on a long haul. He earned his name honestly — a distinctive gold marking that shows up under starlight — and has spent his career turning raw speed into something sustainable over a full night's delivery route rather than just a fast lap. Training under Comet is famously unglamorous and famously effective.
