Privacy Policy

North Pole Ops is a fan-made, just-for-fun Christmas website. We try to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what we do and don't collect.

What stays on your device

The letters you write to Santa, the details you type into the letter builder, countdown calendar progress, and game-related settings are saved only in your own browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. They are never sent to our servers. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Names typed into the Naughty or Nice lookup are checked entirely in your browser and are not stored. If you choose to share a result link, the name in that link is used to draw its preview image when someone opens it; it isn't stored or logged by us.

Payments

If you buy the Premium Letter Pack, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe shares with us the information needed to confirm and support your purchase, such as the payment status, amount, and the email address you entered at checkout. Stripe's use of your information is described in Stripe's privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.

Cookies and advertising

We don't use advertising cookies or sell your information. Some pages link to products on other stores (for example, our gift guide); those stores have their own privacy policies once you visit them.

Children's privacy

North Pole Ops is designed for families to enjoy together, with purchases made by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children on our servers — the details a parent types into the letter builder stay in their own browser. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
