Prancer takes pride seriously — in appearance, in posture, in exactly how the team looks stepping out of the stable — and has appointed himself, entirely without a vote, the flight team's morale officer. He's the reindeer most likely to insist on a photo before a big flight and the one who remembers everyone's good news.
